I recently picked up the Sukin Sensitive Cleansing Lotion. This cleanser is sulphate and paraben free and contains tons of natural ingredients which are great for your skin! I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and thought I'd share my experience with it.
This cleanser is VERY thick and rich in consistency. My skin usually gets a little bit dry in winter, but other than that I'd describe my skin type as being normal, with a tiny bit of oiliness in my t-zone. After using this cleanser my skin feels very soft and hydrated, but not 'clean'. That's not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion, if you don't particularly like that squeaky clean, stripped feeling after washing your face, this cleanser is perfect for you.
My problem with this cleanser is mainly the fact that it doesn't really suit my skin type. My skin isn't really dry enough to benefit from it's super moisturising formula. When I use this cleanser it seems to just sit on the surface of my skin, without really penetrating any deeper to clean out my pores.
It also has little to no makeup removing power, which I found surprising and pretty disappointing. After rinsing the cleanser off my makeup was smudged, but still very much on my face! I had to switch to a different cleanser to properly remove the rest of it.
All in all I'm kind of undecided as to whether I like this cleanser or not. I do really like how soft and moisturised my skin feels after using it, but I do prefer cleansers that are a little bit more deep cleansing. I would definitely not recommend this for makeup removal, you definitely need to take all your makeup off before using this cleanser. However, if you have very dry, sensitive skin, problems with eczema or other skin conditions, I would definitely recommend trying it out. If you're interested, you can pick up this cleanser from Priceline.
